I know many would like to see it become an easier task, but the cons outweigh the pros. To many bankruptcies will result and I don't want to have and flip the bill on my interest rates.

My mom has been a checker at a local grocery store for 35 years here in Stlouis. She cant get over how many people charge groceries. Like I tell her. People buy these fancy houses, cars, clothes and have no cash. Living above their means. All their cash goes to motgages, car payments and credit card payments. They have no cash left. But I did see at a local hucks gas station had a sign that they no longer take cc's and debit cards for lottery. That is a good thing but I doubt the state likes it. They state wants the cash. I say no credit cards allowed at all anywhere. No cash no product. It would keep these no money manegment phucks from enjoying life.

The only cc I use is a Debit Card that is backed by Master Card and my bank.. Much easier than writing checks :103631605

let me tell you guys alittle story i ask one of my local bookmakers how he got started. The year was 1986. He told me a story how he used to recieve credit card applications ,like they were going out of style. He acquired over 80 credit cards, yes 80 cards. then he told me he went to atlantic city weeks at a time he would max out all of his credit cards to the tune of over 150 thousand dollars. when things got ugly he saw a lawyer and filed chapter 7................ did not have to pay a penny back. he told me he did not lose any money in atlantic city, he just needed atlantic city to complete his scam

he told his lawyer his life was a wreck from gambling (wink wink)

lol

general,

using that reasoning, shouldnt western union be stopped as well? you can fund a western union payment with a credit card.

Most certainly if you are stating numbers from a CC account. If you have the cash advance, well, we can't fix everything.

My bank charges a fee to withdraw cash, but no transaction fee for using the visa card (just a low annual fee). Anything over $50 it makes sense to use the card, even if I've got the cash.

Although I agree with the General about using CC for gambling. The big ticket item is chargebacks. Some schmuck loses $50k to an online casino, gets a lawyer and stiffs the casino. Then the casino has to make that up somehow so they stiff me in the sportsbook. Not good at all.

It's all moot really. Bankruptcies, scams, fake disability claims, welfare abuse, silly lawsuit payoffs, etc...

NM, it is beyond repair anyhow.

Anybody NOT in debt in this day and age is simply not being resourceful.

This is a GREAT time for one to be in debt and is actually very unwise not to be.

I guess if you pay it off in full then you da man. But I guarantee you. 50% of the people are not doing this.

The issue is paying your debts off. I also use a CC for alot of purchases. Like blue, I pay the card off soon. I agree with Tony though, most do not and cannot.

With mortgage rates being low, you can refinance debt for a far better rate than the credit cards. You are letting your money work for you.
