so far 2-2 (-0.10 units) on the season here
1) San Diego -1.5 +123 (as posted in the POD thread)
Peavy vs Redman
I actually split my bet on this game between the run line and money line but to make it easier for posting purposes I will leave it at -1.5 The big key in this game is the pitching matchup, Peavy is one of the young rising stars in this league and was dominant last year with a 15-6 record, 2.27 ERA , and 1.20 WHIP. This pitching has continued right on thru spring training where he was 3-0 with a 3.75 era,,,, 13 strikeouts to 5 walks in 12 innings pitched. Meanwhile Redman was less then impressive with the A's last season and had a bad spring training...Pretty much got shelled giving up 37 hits (5 of them HR's) and 7 walks in 23 innings, had an era hovering around 7. I think San Diego has the better team to begin with , but also the more dominant pitcher on the mound tonight, I think they can win this by at least a couple runs.
2) LA Dodgers +107 (Weaver vs Tomko)
Wasn't posted but I was on the Dodgers last night and I will side with them again here with a decent pitcher in Weaver on the mound. Not much to say here but I believe overall the Dodgers are a better team then the Bondsless Giants and I doubt Tomko strikes fear in them. I will be going against the Giants a fair amount this season except for when Schmidt is on the mound
