Wsex responds to complaint

Used too love this book. Then they started with the delay bullshit on all wager over 1k. I was fine with that. Now they delay every freaken wager, sometimes its over a god damn minute. Yeah they pay fast and the money is safe, but the are afraid too take a god damn bet. I called last week and was told there was no delay...what bull!!!! You put a freakin line up take the freakin bet. You want too be an online book..take a damn bet..there is no double hitting going on here...I'd love too hear there excuse because I was told my 1k wagers would be auto accepted..now I am on a freaking god damn delay for who knows how long..I guess until they can put there million dollar brains together and see if they want it.. WSEX are you a book or are you mybookie.com who only accepts wagers from deposit only clients!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem with WSEX a year ago when I went on a mini-run. I was making 2K bets for over a month and than they capped me at a 1K. Are you kidding me , 1K with a supposedly big time book? Never played there ever since. The only thing WSEX had going for them back then was the interactive wagering. You can find that anywhere now.

Good post. I love how they would take a whole nickel on an NBA 1st half bet and give me the 60 second delay treatment on a 500 buck bet. Good thing there is Pinnacle who, at the time, would take a 10 dime bet on the same wager with no delay.

What do you have to say about that Mr. J C ???????????

You can't compare anybook too pinnacle. WSEX is A+ for safety but f- for taking a bet. What is the use of the internet if it's going too be delayed. I am going too start calling them on the phone too wager and see if the clerk puts me on hold everytime. And what finally got me soooooooooo aggravated was that I was betting just too bet..the laker game at postime too watch on TV. After about a minute delay( no joke) came back approval denied. Just tell me you don't want me and I will w/d the funds I have plenty of other places too wager. And I don't want you know it all's coming in this thread yelling beard,mover..that is all nonsense..I am a GAMBLER. I have Don Best. I trade information and I BET. If your afraid too BOOK your in the wrong DAMN business. I was on that side of the counter for a long time and I NEVER delayed anyone giving them a line. If your a book...you put up the line too be bet into..END OF STORY. You want too book just squares and be deposit only except for the lucky few who make a w/d..well I don't have a problem with that but don't act like you want too take a bet, and don't let me deposit money in your book. Have a big sign on the front of your website that reads" IF YOUR A WINNER DON'T BOTHER PLAYING HERE WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS" At least that would be honest and I could respect you for that. Don't call yourself a BOOKMAKER if you book too only squares..that takes NO TALENT and any 10 dollar an hour clerk can do it.

I just started with them. My observation is you can't bet what you want, the amounts are pre-selected for you, some nice MLB lines, they look OK to me.

Steve from WSEX has already explained why some bettors have to be approved manually with wagers of $1,000 or more. Its the Don Best screen watchers that when notified of a key player not playing swarm in like bees to wager as much as they can before the book adjusts the line. Steam chasers are also identified. Steve has made it clear that those type of bettors can go elsewhere.

If it's happening on bets of over $1k I'd say it's reasonable, but if it's happening on bets of 500 or less, then I'd say we could use an explanation.

Books nowadays should have the resources in place to adjust their lines on the fly if steam or an injury affecting the line should occur. Don Best is a resource for players and the books. I mean who doesn't follow steam? If a game steams and I bet it after, my wager will be voided? That's ridiculous. If I bet the opposite way then that's all right. Betting w/a line movement doesn't always translate into a win. Books want it both ways. They feel they are in business to have players donate their $ to them b/c the sign on the front door reads "offshore sports wagering". The biggest problem I have is that books/casinos live by this belief that players are not allowed to win. Come on. They have every right to.

I understand this completely. What I am telling you is that bets get denied approval and WSEX DOES NOT EVEN CHANGE THEIR LINE SOMETIMES. I would not complain if I was a chaser..I am far from a steam chaser. I play alot of stuff against the grain. They pick and choose what they want and that is my problem. Don't put the line up if youe don't want the action.

I don't want too hear all of you know it alls rant about steam,movers,beards..it's all nonsense no one is coming in on half the stuff I play into WSEX and it's bad business practice too delay a wager for over a minute..What are they discussing while my play sits in the que waiting for aprroval..their dinner plans?

And I can also say that when I wager on something that they are looking for a bet on they bet gets APPROVED immediately. So they 100% pick and choose what they want. That's BULLCRAP!

Jay C...This is going on..Don't know what you can really do about it now..but it's not my imagination...it has happened too many times and It has become comical.

Definitely not the only reason.... I tried getting a bet in last night at a time when the line was not moving anywhere at any books (but WSEX had the best line by a couple of cents at the books I am using). I tried betting $2,500 at first. This was rejected. I then tried to bet the exact same line (it hadn't moved) for $2,000 instead. This was also rejected and I was told that my limit now was $1k.

Needless to say, I will just withdraw my money and look elsewhere.

Guess I will join the stampede. Been in WSEX a very long time. Must admit I love the place. Or loved it until they no longer loved me. It has slid badly. Now worst in class in taking action. Inactive, I meant Interactive, on pause more than available. Get ugly internet delays, which kill my rapid fire business. Even worse, get the huge delay, and get rejected. Talk about a waste of time. If you are going to be a bookmaker Jay, book some bets. Out of my 20 outs, WSEX is the hardest and iffiest to get down in. Dropped FROG rating to grant, the drunken president.
He was too incoherent to take any action, what is your excuse? :icon_conf

Steve, talk is cheap. Anyone can talk the talk. Walk the walk. I am a long term loyal customer. Your antics are forcing me to look elsewhere for an option to bet. I rarely require a talk to let me know I am getting jacked off. Don't piss down my back and tell me its raining. You are going to be left with a bunch of unsophisticated bettors who will play along with your silly games. Your payouts are perfect. Your customer service is outstanding. But in the betting business, you are supposed to take bets you offer. Looking them over and rejecting them is unacceptable. It is the reputation of your business, built over many years, that is rapidly eroding.
If it is your intent to put up the no FROGs sign, I will withdraw mine. :waving: OF

Not interested, as I have no concerns. I know you will pay. I know I can hop away and find a new pond that will give me a sign up bonus, and take a bet that they offer. I am saddened one of my favorites has fallen so far so fast. Figure on a 75% balance reduction. The direction you are going is opposite of mine. But thank you for the good years.
