Friday Bases.....(10-4, +11.42 units, ytd..)

Had a nice 3-0 day yesterday to reach a new season-high +11 units, hope to keep it up today....there are a couple of early games i like, so i will go ahead and post....and please, before anyone posts, that i shouldnt play "big fav's" let me re-iterate, i play the games i like, and when i see value.....if i think a -260 game is a sure winner, its better interest than i can get in any bank....the secret is only laying the wood on winners......you have to be extra good on those...i dont play them often, but if i like one, i will.....and today i do..

cubs (-195)........2 units (pinny) (think this line will go up too)

St Louis -1.5 (+126)......2 units (pinny)

Kerry Wood will bring the A-game today i believe, and this Milwaukee team just doesnt have enough offense against him, i dont believe...combine that with Cubs home opener, their fav pitcher on the mound, etc....combines for a real good day for the cubs...(i hope):drink:

Like i said, i post what i play, and play what i like...

Did the exact same thing last year, and if someone followed all along, and played every game, they made lots of money, and that was on a record that wasnt "that far" over .500...i was 505-472, so the key is following them all, obviously hitting some good dogs, and making the "right" plays for more units.....and that is the key.....if someone doesnt like a play, simply dont play it, but it all figures into the final total, and even with any "big fav" losses, last year, or 3 unit losses, we still made a TON of money....plan on doing the same this year

I'm with ya on the Cubs and Cards...Wood should be sharp, especially at home in front of that crowd. Same goes for Mulder. Sure, the MLs suck, but they should def. win...also, the ML on the Cubs is down to -171 at pinny.

Wow, i really screwed up playing the Cubs "last night"....Pinny was the lowest on the board, and i thought it would go up, so i jumped early, and it went the other way.....Well it will only matter if the Cubs lose, so lets hope for our sake, that they dont....and for all just reading this now, i REALLY like the Cubs at the better odds....not as much risk, and really think they will get a good one from Kerry today, in front of a pumped up crowd...

Cubs down to -164 at Pinny now.....

I am adding another unit at (-164) to make this a **fav play (our first of the year)

So have 2 units at (-195) (grrrr)

and 1 unit at (-164)

because their are so many dog players in April?? A April dog at plus 140 to 180 is a good bet to alot of player this time of year.

The line is dropping because of people scared of Wood's control issues. Milwaukee is not a bad offensive team IMO and personally I think the cubs losing 2 of 3 against the D-backs show how poor of a team they will be this year. Good Lucks Bucsfan. Maybe consider using the -1 line at Pinny to save yourself some juice.

good point.....as many say its a good time to play "live" dogs early, i guess its also a good time to get "better" odds on what would be a prohibitve favorite at times as well, just for that reason..

It wasnt paying that good last night, but at +128, i see value....
