World Number One said:yes, thanks are in order..
on another note, you will notice that i went 2-2 last night. not 3-1 like you had me.
i actually picked 4 winners but turned 2 of them into losers by laying 1.5 runs..

im having a neteller issue and havent been able to fund my pinnacle account all week but tomorrow im wiring money via western union so i'll be ready to bet when the next tournament begins. just remember im looking for you every morning and im sure others are too. ive never played tennis and havent known very many who played. my neighbor and his sons are huge fans going to the tourneys in la costa and carlsbad and they get tennis mags in the mail all the time.i once met andre in a casino here about 10 years ago and he was really cool. i figured you must have been a player because you know so much about the players and you win all the time. but again its your 4&5 * picks that hit alot. i have 2 gfs who also follow your picks and they thought you were handicapping each player which i guess you are somewhat.so do you advise waiting till the monaco tourney next week before jumping in again?or is this a good time? the weekend you didnt post i assumed you were betting on ranked players vs unranked players. i really got killed that day. then march madness got me that weekend too. i took 2 weeks off betting but im ready to go again now. good luck glaken.~RGGlaken said:First I'd like to say thank you,
Hope you didn't hang with me today....I got hammered, but good. No worries though its the start of dirt season and some of the Euro guys that were so-so last year have skipped the last few hard court tourneys and have improved more than I thought. Next week in Monaco should be better as I will have a better idea where some of the players stand.
The rain delay cost me with the girls in Florida...the way I make some decisions on matches is on a "player that day versus a player that day" instead of the rankings. The head to heads don't mean that much to me as much as the surface and a players momentum..... this is especially true with the girls.
Yes I do know a few players, but I know more coaches...I grew up on the courts in Florida and played the junior curcuit all over the US before going to Florida State on a full ride. I tried the satellites and challengers for a while but never could break the top 200...if you don't do that you need a job. I taught for several years and loved it but I broke my arm water skiing at night many years ago and now I'm just an average "A" player. I keep in touch with lots of old tennis freinds as it is a small family really. I try an go to several tournaments in the states and I attend a few ATP and USTA dinners when possible. I know the WTA best as I have dated a few of them over the years and still keep up with them when time permits...no I want mention names.
As far as fading late rounds I tend to do that a bit...it depends on some of the intangibles. Look for my prop plays in the semis and finals - I only make them when I am really confident of the result....but that said I did get surprised by the Agassi-Federer match in Miami, I thought for sure AA would win a set and I'm not so sure he wouldn't have had it not been for that bimbo linesperson on the baseline....and the center line calls were shaky. Agassi lost two calls that would have changed the second set..one on a break point in the second game and another in the fifth game.
Anyway, Thanks for the kind words...I hope to hear your last sentence more often...LOL...if your lucky.

thank you glaken. i need to build my bankroll then i will open an account at 5 dimes. i had a phenomenal 6 month run where i just kept winning and it ended in march. i mean ALL OF MARCH. so im being carefull and my only goal is building my account back to where it was on march 1st.im glad this thread was started because ive been wanting to touch base with you for awhile but didnt want to start my own thread to do it.lol.nice meeting you sir:toast: ~RGGlaken said:Rox, I am going to take a look at tomorrow and will post something before morning....I am going to be more selective with the 5*s for a while so remember that....and I love Pinny but if you want to play the props you should be at 5 Dimes...the props I like are only there for some reason. All the major tennis cappers play at 5 Dimes, Interwetten, Pinny, Bet365, and Bet & Win. All safe to leave 6 figures in and have good tennis chalkers. I like 5 Dimes because they have lines on challengers which is easy for me to cap since most of the players stay in North America and I can get a read on them easier.

If you ask the General, he will give you my e-mail addy if you like. There are ways and reasons I pick certain matches that I would never post on the web but they are reflected in my picks anyhow. Take care...
Time to get some work done...
Good night, G
