Question about ps2

We have mvp 2005. We have cable modem. What do I need to do to go online and play? And how much??

You need a router, unless there is a splitter available(Not Sure), and a cable(Wire). I'd guess less than $80. If we can split from the modem, then I'd guess less than $30.

u need the online adapter unless u have the newest ps2 as the adapter is built in to that one. not sure how much around 50 i think.

Does the adapter work as a splitter from the modem? I haven't looked into that at all. I have a PS2 online using a router, but an adapter(Splitter?) is the best choice here if available.

i can vouch for it being a breeze with the new slim one and a router.

wish i could tell you, i never had 2004. .i just know a lot of people have 2005
