I can't get in Pinny and NT. I get homepage but can't log-in. I e-mailed Pinny. They said I need IE 5.0 or Netscape 6.1 or better, and per session cookies enabled.

I downloaded IE 6.0 ( had 4.0) and enabled the cookies. I still can't get in those 2 sites, but can use 5D, WW , HW, etc. I'm running windows 2000 Pro.

Any suggestions, PLEASE !

I was thinking about that one. Pinny says they test their site against the 2 two mentioned.

Any downside to it ?

Doug, try this: In IE goto tools>Internet options>Privacy>Advanced, then click Override Auto cookie handling/Except first and third party cookies and Always allow session cookies.. Maybe that'll help...

Advice for you - before you screw around with your computer like this, buy a USB jump drive (or burn a CD) and back up everything you need.

Take it from me - I learned the hard way.

Try restore.

I posted recently about not being able to load Pinny and WSEX, downloaded Firefox no good, then unplugged my laptop from power and replugged in and it was fine. It's the computer gremlin that randomly hits since we put so much garbage in our machines, if you ask me.

I was at the point of phoning Pinny and speaking to their tech support when my problem cleared up. Maybe you should try that with machine at the ready.

I presume you've tried typing in the URL and not using your bookmark.

I've talked with Pinny tech support on the secret phone number also. They suggested typing in URL, didn't work. They are supposedly looking into it.

Next I'll try calling Neteller and Comcast, or ask friends to look at it. Mansion doesn't work either.

Doug, do you have a firewall that may be interfeaing?

Have you updated your PC at Windows update?
