I love the NHL. I can't believe I was forced to watch the overpaid NBA players this season.

I miss it bigtime also, I don't know what they are thinking already being a marginal sport in the US. Nothing like going to a live game and seeing how gifted some of these guys are on skates, find TV does not do justice to this sport...Junior hockey is pretty cool too, like a college atmosphere, more open game usually, very entertaining also

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Beats the heck out of travel ball and boring ball, although the fantasy season keeps it interesting.

I love hockey, but six months to eliminate 14 teams seemed to make the season drag.

Then this season I got to watch the NBA do it. UUGGHHH. Bring back the NHL as soon as possible, please.

Back to watching the Frozen Four celebration. Congrats Denver!

I heard today the NHL is very likely to expand their playoff fomat to include 20 teams (if/when they ever play again). I'm strictly a gambler so that is good for me - I just want lots of games to bet on - but I'm sure there are quality minded people around here who will consider that a step backwards.

Hopefully we can all agree that they're all a bunch of knobs.

I am posting from a seat at a hockey game. Glad to have the ECHL here in Vegas, but watching these guys reminds you why $19 seats here are $75 in the NHL. Good eager kids (and Scott Gomez) can't make up for the skill at the top.

On a side note the team here is having a lousy season, yet sells out its last game and almost sold out last night.. Would it happen if the NHL was playing?

Missing the NHL is big time. I dwell in the land of Stanley Cup championships and the best hockey players in the world.

I understand many do not care for hockey. As stated in my original, I was just getting serious about it. I feel I jinxed the sport. :sad3:

You are the only one who misses it. Women's soccer holds my attention better.

Couldn't be more wrong there VT.

Really miss the Canadian teams in the playoffs. Those fans really got into the games.
