Texas Hold Em GAMES IN NYC!

Went to my locals social club in NYC last night and played in a 30/60 Hold Em game last night. Walked away with 8 thousand after a lucky night at the table. Hold Em is taking up in almost every street in NYC. You can get in a game at any time of the day or night.In the back of a bar, or in the back of a barber shop. They are growing every week. I played at 3am and there were 4 tables going with 7 at each table. 5/10, 30/60, 40/80 & 100/200 were the games available. Each table was filled and there were 10 people at the bar waiting to get in too. Glad I don't live down there anymore, or I'd be there everynight and day losing everything!

to walk away w/ 8g's is certainly an impressive session at the tables. Did you catch cards, or were the players just weak?

Yes, the growth is tremendous. My local casino is expanding its 20 table room to 25 tables on Monday. On weekends the lists are 60 long for 2/4, 40 for 4/8. The big games of 20/40 and no limit also have long lists.

Nice win JFS, sounds like a lot of chasers and your hands held up.

Tourneys are everywhere. It is crazy. I refuse to partake because it is illegal and right out in the open at bars here. I even seen NASCAR drivers were doing a celebrity game Thursday night.

My friend "backs" a poker room in Jersey City. It's actually really nice.

LOL, I'm in Jersey City at least 2 times a week. Have friends that play and live on Communipaw Avenue. I own 2 houses in Jersey City that were handed to me from my Grand Parents,lol. There are at least 8 places that I know of throughout Jersey City to get in a game of Hold EM!
