Arizona Diamondbacks under 13
When was the last time you saw two lefties go at it with an over/under line of 13? These two teams have played a lot in the past year. And in order to find a game that went over 13 runs you have to go all the way back to last April when the D-Backs won an 11-10 game in Colorado. But in every other game since then (and there have been SEVENTEEN games since then), these two have for the most part played close, low scoring contests. Monday was a perfect example as the D-Backs won 5-3 in Denver. Rockies pitching is actually better than it has been in quite some time, and their hitting is almost non-existent. Arizona's starter Shawn Estes, has pitched very well in his first two starts this year with an ERA of under 3.50 and a stingy WHIP to match. These two starters (Estes and Rockie Rookie Jeff Francis) already threw one game against each other, a low-scoring 5-2 contest in Arizona. I don't see any reason to believe that this sequel should be much different as neither team has done much offensively since then. Take the 'under' here.

Toronto Blue Jays
Roy Halladay the Blue Jays number one starter goes to the hill today against the Red hot BoSox in an effort to cool them down. The powerful 6 '5 righthander is now 2-0 on the sea-son with a 3.27 ERA and off a dominating effort in his last outing against a strong Texas Rangers batting order . His pitching opponent from the Red Sox (Bronson Arroyo) has a 1-0 record and 5.40 ERA on the season and is off a weak effort his last time out. The righty has been fortunate to have a winning record considering his struggles and can attribute that to his teammates very strong number #1 ranked offense scoring 5.8 RPG. Bottom line: Look for Halladay to continue his current top form and for Arroyo to continue his struggles tonight under the shadow of the Green Monster. Final notes: Toronto has won Halladays last 3 starts overall and his L/3 road starts dating back to last season.

You must list your units won or lost in your thread. Won/lost record in baseball are almost meaningless. Good luck. Hope you have a good season:103631605
