I'm on the pone to Olympic. Oly shows 2d half NYD-1 -110. I ask for 2d half NYD-1 -110.

"I'm sorry sir, the line has changed to -2".

How's a guy supposed to make an honest living? They did the same thing last week - throw a line out, after I ask for the play, move the line and reject my play.

Thats all you have to do is call and ask to speak to Spiro or Roy, they will defintely honor you the bet as long as the clerk quoted you the line.

I'd better clarify.

On halftimes, it is a mad rush. I usually tell them exactly what I play. In this case, the clerk hadn't read back before the line moved. I could ask the clerk to read such and such line, but that takes them about 60 seconds longer.

HT lines at Oly change quickly as they are one of the first to put it out. It happens to me frequently. The reason is because other people are betting the same side and they are moving the line.

I would just tell the clerk to hold the 2nd half line, that way no one can beat you in.

Call me a rookie, but I've never heard of "holding" a line. Is that common? How do you do it?

That's an interesting idea....doubt they do it though...but they give you 60 seconds on the internet and it would seem logical to do the same by phone.

Very common, If you call in for the 2nd half line they will usually hold the game depending on how bigger of a better you are, but a steam player could be playing at the same time you are calling in and they might have the game on hold, the thing I use to hate the worst was when a customer would call the line out to me off the Donbest screen, as if he is the only customer that is playing us. they never could do none of those things to me, I would let them know right on the spot, PLEASE dont call out the bet to me, they knew they were in a race thats the reason they do it.

IF YOU HAVE OTHER ACCOUNTS TELL THEM YOU PREFER TO TAKE THE PLUS 2 AND FIND -1 ELSEWHERE.
