If This Current Roster Of Warriors Played Together All Season, Where Would They Rank In Western Conference Playoff Standings?

Also, If They Keep Their Team Together, What Line Would You Post For Win Total 05-06 Season?

I Believe They Would Be A 6 Seed In Wconf Playoffs And Will Win 46+ Games Next Season.

Well, I think they could have pulled off the 6-8 seeds but for some reason, I don't see this carrying over to next season. I must be crazy to think that, but a simple offseason injury to Richardson or Davis (we know how he is prone to that) could ruin this team again. My opinion, Baron Davis can't remain healthy for a 82 game season and the Warriors may not live up to expectations that they are making for themselves now. They are playing way above their heads right now and a lot could happen from the end of April to preseason in October. I love watching them play, but I believe the WC teams will make adjustments next season. Look for San Antonio, Dallas, Sac-Town, Denver, and Phoenix the top 5 next season, with Minny+GS+Houston fighting off the Lakers and Clippers and Grizz. The only reason why I left the Grizz out next season is because Minny will rebuild and make it, Houston won't change, and GS will hopefully surge for the 8th seed.

they do this every year.. they manage to put together a meaningless run at the end of the season giving false hope for next year.

Good point Norega, but they have been a very young team and now guys like Murphy, Richardson, Dunleavy have some veteran support and a coach that is a proven winner (although at ncaa level).

A solid draft choice which helps at center would IMO give this team a solid shot next year at a top 4 wc slot.

Baron Davis has been injury prone, but they do have some depth to limit his minutes when needed during the long nba season.

I just wanted to throw this out here and get some thoughts of other nba cappers.

I think this time it is different Noreaga. Davis gives them a closer at the end of games and he brings a lot of attitude and confidence to that team that was basically leaderless before his arrival. It will be interesting to see what they can do if Davis stays healthy next year.

They will be paying for the ass-stupid mistake they made giving all that money to Foyle though and it will prevent them from being a power for years. I remember nominating that move for dumbest move of the offseason, much worse than the big contract given to Okur by the Jazz. Look at the money they spent on a guy that did nothing in the league and his stats this year. This sort of stuff can literally hurt a team for years because no one in their right mind would take that contract in a deal.

Agree with WildBill completely regarding the contract to Foyle. Mentioned it when the Warriors offered it to him. Simply unbelieveable money for an average player. As to the Warriors potential, although they have gone on a nice run since acquiring Baron Davis, this team does not know how to play defense and has no real stoppers. They have beaten some decent teams by outscoring them, but so have teams in the past like Dallas and Sacramento and this year Phoenix. Playoff teams, but won't win a title because their defenses are too pourous once they face a quality opponent. The Warriors at best may hover around .500 in the future. Perhaps they will make the playoffs but will have little success advancing.

They have the capability to play much better defense than they are. They are just having fun to close the season.
