I started using them again for bases. Played them in the past with no problem.

But stil, their ticket numbers concern me. I started playing again last week, and I show them booking about 60 bets through that week.

Would this concern anyone else? I kow they say my money is in an Escrow, but it has to be wrong. I place a wager in the morning, and later that day, i get a ticket number about 2-3 more than the one I already had.

I love the book, they have nice, unique numbers, and fast payout.

anyone else playing?

Actually, I have been looking into them also. I am looking forward to seeing some of these responses here.

I used them up till about a week ago. I started using them again because of their loyalty program (50 bets, get one free). I was annoyed when they awarded me this Bonus Play, they didn't actually give the average amount of my last 50 wagers (Sum of 50 wagers / 50) but rather gave the mode amount. I didn't like this and pulled out. Looking back from 2 weeks ago they were writing about 60 tickets a day. That can't make for a goldmine.

if they arent writing many bets, then there really isnt anyone to take all their money is there?

hell, it would worry me more if they were taking 30,000 bets...

Is it bad that they don't write a lot of tickets? I don't think so. Heck, sportsbook.com writes a million tickets, but I don't play there because they really don't care if I don't agree with something they have done:)

I gave BCN a chance, and just because I posted up there doesn't mean I sent them half my bankroll.

I liked what I saw, I lost what I sent and I might go back. Not a bad book at all.

I tried them out with their promo at the start of the tournament. No major complaints so far. I don't like their low limits on some bets and their payout terms, but these are things I make sure I am aware of before I deposit. I work with them.

I have been finding some opinionated numbers there. Unlike a book like Hollywood, it has been easy to find bets and rollover my funds.

I might try it.

Make three plays worth a unit each at another book, and play a 0.15 unit parlay at BCN for insurance in case I lose all three:)

An 0-3 day won't be as bad.

If the plays are made on the dime line, it would be the same as making the plays on a 20 cent line and getting "free insurance".

I don't get it. If they aren't writing many tickets, there is a strong chance that covering overhead costs is an issue. Also, it is a lot harder to get even action on each side. As far as I'm concerned this is a business of volume.

They have great c/s and they do pay fast. But not having many customers is not a exactly a prescription for longevity in this business.

You're right.

but

writing a lot of tickets, and having those tickets being double/triple hits by steam players or beards is worse. Maybe they block out people effectively - who knows.

Once a book opens, steam players will come out of the woodwork like termites to check them out. Until you pass that test, you're never going to make it. At that point, overhead is the least of your worries.

The ticket count is very low. I could generate 5 tickets myself. I left after finding out about withdrawal fees. I don't see how they can last with this volume, bonuses, advertising costs, etc. Maybe they should skip about 113 numbers after every bet !

anyone else have infor on the low ticket writing numbers? is everyone staying hush because they advertise?

for me, i think it would be hard to stay in business writing not at least 4-500 tickets a day, let alone 10

Some books do this.
