3:05 ESPN be there or be square.

Red Sox gets their rings and raise the World Series champion flag while the Yankees look on.

HA HA. Bet anyone a dime right now Steinbrenner is not going to be sitting down near the field for this one.

BTW, what does everyone think about this game? Red Sox +112 wakefield v Mussina. Very tempting to take the red Sox as a home dog here. Wakefield has been tough on the Yankees.

Are you sure they have room for The Banner? I mean with all of the other Championship banners the Red Sox have...................:finger:

Anyone know if this will be on ESPN in NY? The opening series was blacked out because of the YES network. I'd much rather watch the coverage on ESPN than on YES.

Anyone here go by the "ceremony let down theory"? I have a friend who swears by it. Out of respect for him I never be on a team that is having some sort of ceremony (jersey retirement, rings) and I usually throw something on the other side.

Could care less

If they had Pedro, Lowe, Leskanic, Reese, Roberts, Cabrerra and Minky out there it would be different

Money ball sucks. I miss those guys.

As for the game, the Yanks are the play

I really could see the Yankees getting an extra touch of pride and resentment after the pre-game. and the red sox could be a little happy.

but the line doesnt make a lot of sense if you want to bet the Yankees. Why are they favored on the road? Pitching match-up is fairly even. Red Sox bull-pen probably in better shape. Foulke has not pitched in a while, Embree and maybe Timlin can pitch too. Yankees used their set-up men a lot yesterday and Rivera has had well, difficulties closing out Boston.

I am playing Red Sox +114. Red Sox a very good home team, don't forget that too :103631605

OK guys, go for it. Just don't be surprised when A Rod blows it for you somehow. He's already been a terrible clutch hitter vs. Boston and blew a game in the field. I expect something new from him today.

A-Rod blows the game with a base-running blunder? Gimme the " Yes"
