How can you not have Raffy, the guys numbers are amzing, and he may end up with 600 homeruns, like i said on here 3 years ago...

600 doubles, 1900+ RBI, 600 HR's, over 3000 hits....He has to be the quietest guy to have great stats in the games history!

Soon to be the 4th member of the 3000 hit/500 HR Club

I'd vote in Fred McGriff before I even considered either of them.

No. They're both lower than Joe Jackson and Pete Rose combined.

... because of the steroids crap, I will WATCH baseball but I could care less about the HOF anymore

... and if McGuire gets in, that will really piss me off - especially since people like Jim Rice and Fred McGriff are more deserving.

You have a point - and that is why I don't care about the HOF anymore. Baseball is so full of sh!t, its pitiful.

... and before you ask me any more questions, I want you to remember that I don't want to talk about the past.:suomi:

Kick all those SOBs out and put Pete Rose in - at least we know he didn't use roids because all his phone calls were tapped when they were on him for gambling.

Rice played in the 1970's when 46 homeruns (which he hit in his MVP year) were a ton of homers, of course he did that in Fenway too....

What's amazing about Rice, he never hit more than 20 homers in a season after age 32!

Rice was on the serious decline by age 33....

My argument is that since steroids were invented in 1959 and we have no idea who may have used them since then, it is not fair to bash the guys that are the main suspects. I say we start with Maris who hit 61 two years after steroids were first invented.
