I love Peavy tommorow, reading that Prior is on a pitch count tommorow somewhere around 75 pitches that means no more than 6 innings for prior. Peavy never the less is a stud, and against I believe and overrated offense in the cubs, I think the Padres at -105 is a steal and i Believe it jumps up. Get on the Padres as they get to the bullpen early and we all know what that has meant the last couple of days.Let me know what you fellas think of this one. I know which way Apollo kid is leaning and im right there with u

prior had 30 painless bullpen pitches on sunday.i am not saying he is 100%,but he might be ok to play well.if he doesent start ,rusch will come in and play.he pitched 3 bp innings the other day and wont last long.he should get shelled if he starts.

Just read that Prior threw 88 pitches in his last AAA game.....just thought I'd throw that in just in case that made any difference to anyone. GL!!

I like Peavy as much as anyone, but Prior (even off injury) as a home dog is not a good spot to bet The Pads, imo.

Priors tune up game in AAA was not a good one.

Gave up 7 runs in 6 innings ( I think -- may be off by a run or an inning). Although most of the runs were given up in the first inning.

Just wanted to pass it along.
