Not sure what the numbers are now but for years Las Vegas had much the same problem. Free buffets are hard to turn down for many (including myself).

The truth of the matter is buffets can be one of the HEALTHIEST options one can choose if individuals can practice moderation and make wise food choices.

too much water can kill you, fruit doesn't help prevent cancer now, too much vitamin E isn't good anymore, eat this , don't eat that, oh **** DO eat that and don't eat this, we were wrong 20 years ago, so you're gonna die sooner.
I'm tired of it! They don't know what the hell is good or bad - then consider whose agenda it is

one of the common traits between centinarians(sp) (100 yr olds ) is a high fat, high cholesterol diet

could get hit by a bus tomorrow

we all got it coming

you gotta die of something

Best farce is the BMI calculation that supposedly tells you if you are obese or not. A study showed that 14 of 30 of the players from the Heels and Illini would be considered overweight. Even better Lebron is overweight. A guy that looks like he could jump and touch the moon is supposedly overweight, yeah right.

All this stuff about how unhealthy life is and yet life expectancy just keeps going up. Nice racket for the doctors, gyms, diet food makers, and diet authors.

Americans are in total denial

Who cares that the data is totally conclusive. Eating lots of meat, and having a high BMI is a solid way to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years.

I cannot tell you how many obese/overweight people are clueless about how dangerous their current condition is. If you have a high BMI and you want to claim you are healthy, your BPressure and Cholesterol and other indicators can prove you right. However, I think 95% of those with high BMIs are needlessly taking huge health risks.

Ps. 30 years ago, I'm sure a bunch of guys would be on boards like this defending smoking.
