Why do the majority of gamblers give their Home phone to their books??

then say they where cold called 3 times....I just do not get it ...I do not give my phone number to any book and if I did id give my Cellphone number... but 99% I do not give it.

there is NO NEED IMO...and I am never called for re-ups

Just an idea for some that are plagued by these calls

I give them my cell number, never the home number.

Are we supposed to put a fake number in there?

I prefer to get an email with a special offer than a phone call.

no chance....

its weird as I have given many my cell and tell them DO NOT CALL ME with offers and have not gotten a call in years.....I tell them to email me offers

sorry your having issues I would call them and tell them seriously NOT to call you, see if that works

I give it, it's often required. The only recent call I've received is Royal. I told them e-mail only, they have complied.

I give it because I think it's usually required. Also I don't put any false information down because I would never want to NOT be paid because I'm accused of fraud.Though lately I have been giving my cell number instead if possible.

keith....If i was required Id give my Cell and ask to be on the no call list..but I have never been told by any CS guy it was REQUIRED I just said a few times I do not give it out or gave my cell...if they pressured me for a phone # ...I would not post up a cent

It's often there on online sign-up form. I prefer to sign-up online so info is correct.

Dante...I have almost always signed up online. Also I have only received a cold call occasionally and that's usually on the answering machine. Personally I don't care but I can see where some people would be very upset if they didnt want others in family to know they gamble.
