It looks like Mike Hampton has finally gotten Coors Field out of his system. John Smoltz threw a brillant no decision with 15ks Sunday. Tim Hudson is pitching like Tim Hudson. Rameriz is a solid youngster with tremendous upside. And John Thompson just keeps winning. I feel better then ever about the Braves chances of going to the fall classic this year.

I would not go that far. Everyone gets to blow a save every now and then. I am a little concerned about his control so far this year. Last season with the Brewers he hardly ever walked anyone. His WHIP was out of this world. I think he is trying to overpower people more than last year, not using his sinker as much as he should.
