book not grade this a PUSH or CANCELED right away?

Why do they wait until the game is over...if the rules state XXXX Pitcher must START

Obviously once he doesn't start it should be an automatic push....Is this just the way automated grading systems do it?

They have to wait till the game is final, for the people that bet ACTION.

I have always wondered why players bet action? I think it is a good way to get screwed. You are bascially betting blind. You have no idea what the price is or who is pitching if there is a change.

Sometimes they are betting on the team, e.g. a hot one.
If there is a last second pitching change, they still have
"action" which they would not otherwise have with LP's.

Do they not grade them right away?

Some books do grade them no action right away.

I understand that, but you are betting on a team regardless of Price. That doesn't seem very wise. That is like saying I am betting the Yankee's tomorrow night whether it is -150 or -500.
