Houston Offense. . . Where are you????

Now that is a fvcking pathetic game by Houston. To lose a game 1-0 to Ishii and the Mets is unreal. What a huge loss for me tonight, blew the system play and a real nice parlay I had with them, Texas, and the Yankees.

Their offense sucks this year. What I don't understand is since they were willing to dish out $100 milliion for Beltran and still couldnt sign him, why didnt they pick up another bona fide hitter with that money? Like Delgado who was on the market. So instead they pick up no one. Astros owner is a cheap ass.

They couldn't get Delgado since Bagwell is still there at 15mill playing 1B in the no DH league. They offered Drew and Finley but didn't get a bite from them.

Some of it is on the DL. Some of it is in NY, and some of it is in LA. There is very little of it in Houston.

Thought I would add another play tonight with Clemens on the hill. What the hell is up with Houston? Can anyone hit the baseball on that freakin team! They may be in for a long season. Roger may be wishing he was back in NY.

Clemens can only be bet on the 5 inning line with this team until Berkman gets back. It would have been a push instead of this 3 1/2 hour heartbreaker.
