guy pitched for o's last year and was awful. apparently had a good winter and spring. moyer has had it bad the last few times to kauffman. lets hope denny bautista starts a revolution today.

It all depends on his command. He's got great stuff, but the Royals believe he will be inconsistent all year. KC's bullpen is having problems as well; Affeldt is throwing low 90's with his fastball when he typically is up to the mid 90's. Something is wrong with him and no one else is there to close out games.

moyer has nothing but bautista battled himself out of the game. hit batters, 4 pitch walks to bad hitters, lik shotgun said. terribly inconsistent. about to b 6-2 when the reliever coms in and gives up a double.
