Why do people talk about NFL in April ?
<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I would not watch a down of nfl if it wasnt for gambling. I am not very impressed by type of athlete, coach, gm, or fan that the nfl produces.

I just checked with NFL players association and as a man they said that they weren't too impressed with your athletic ability either.... imagine that. Oops, sorry, Doug Flutie said he thought you were a stud. So that makes it about 1600 against, 1 for.

Highdaddy is right on the money here. Media discussion heats up in April because of the upcoming draft on the 23rd. People that enjoy the NFL, and particularly in viewing draft day, get pretty excited about what players might be added to their favorite teams. It's become a much bigger media event then years ago. Believe that is why the interest in April. After the draft, things calm down again until mini-camps open up. Personally, my local team has the #1 draft choice and I could care less because this team will continue to have problems due to its clueless ownership. Selling the team to a new owner would get me excited.
Makes sense coming from a women's volleyball groupie.
