had a solid night today going 3-1 with the loss being by a half run on the Mets/Astros over, but I will take it,, will update the record at some point tomorrow.

Florida -1 (-124) (Beckett vs Heilman)
Florida's lineup is just stacked, a great mix of speed and power, and to top it off they have their ace on the hill today who has been absolutely dominant this season , 2-0 with 0.0 ERA , 17 strikeouts, and an unreal 0.73 WHIP. And he's up against Heilman??? (gave up 8 hits and 5 runs in 5 innings first start) ....looks like a big pitching mismatch here... My favorite play of the day..maybe even year this early into the season

Minnesota -1 (-120) (Santana vs Westbrook)
What can you say,, CY Young winner who was dominant his last start with 11 k's,, there is no need to get off the train yet.. Westbrook is a good one too but Santana much more consistent and I would rather have my money riding in his hands

NY Yankees (-130) (Pavano vs Chen) The Yanks have already seen Chen in his first start this season, so he won't surprise them with anything new here. Pavano is a solid pitcher , but the bats should do the talking tomorrow against the O's as the Yanks take out their frustaration on them after losing 2 series in a row, one to Baltimore in Yankee Stadium, and the next in Fenway.. Yanks here all the way

Detroit -1 (-116) (Ledezma vs Lima)
Ledezma had a great first start while Lima has pretty much sucked so far this season (10.8 ERA) , the first start being against these Tigers where he only lasted 3 innings. Tigers have the better hitting lineup, and better pitcher on the mound today,, whats not to like here.

Toronto +128 (Lilly vs Drese) A great value play as Jays continue to win and Lilly is a solid pitcher. In his first start of the season after coming off the DL, Lilly shutdown the Red Sox holding them to 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6 in 5 innings pitched. I realize Drese is the top guy for Texas but he's no Santana or Beckett here.. At almost +130 odds with Lilly and a thriving 7-3 Jays team, this value is too good to pass up.

that's it for now, may add another tomorrow, the D'Rays line is really tempting against Wells.
goodluck

I really just wanted to stick with the original 5 I posted early this morning but ahh what the hell, will play these 3 for smaller bets to make it an 8 pack..

Atlanta +118 (Ramirez vs Floyd) - much like the Blue Jays play at +128, this is strictly a value play. Two good teams with good pitchers on the mound, this game could go either way so play on the value here with the Braves. Phillies struggle a bit with lefties so a little added advantage for Ramirez. Abreu and Thome are a combined 1/11 against Ramirez in past at bats

Seattle -104 (Pineiro vs Garland)
Mariners playing well and will have their ace on the mound tonight making his season debut. Had a very good outing at AAA last week and I expect him to have a very good season with his shoulder problems behind him.. Garland is nothing to write home about, he was fortunate to get a win his first outing this season giving up 10 hits and 3 runs in 6 innings. Seattle has some good momentum going and have their ace on the hill tonight, I will ride them here.

San Fran -104 (Lowry vs Wright) Pretty much a pickem game as both these lineups are pretty weak, but I give a big advantage in the pitching department to the Giants here with Lowry on the mound. Wright had a good first outing against the Giants, but looking at his career numbers he is just flat out a bad pitcher. I think the promising Lowry and the Giants come out with a win here.
