Here are some for Friday.
Cubs/Pirates OVER 7.5
Perez has had control issues thus far. Zambrano is great..sometimes has issues on the road. I see the Cubs bats coming to life here. I look for Aramis and Nomar to have big games. Will be looking at props in the A.M.
Drays +170
Wells has looked horrid. I doubt Foulke will be available after throwing over 50 pitches Thursday. And this is a spot that could be a letdown after an intense series with Yanks. Drays could be overlooked here. I look for them to steal one here.
Braves +110
The Floyd kid had no fastball or breaking ball vs the Cards. He relied on his sinker only..which is very good. I look for the Braves to jump on him early. We'll see how he handles pitching from behind..with the added pressure of needing to perform to keep his spot in rotation. I'll also be playing the prop that there WILL be a run scored in first inning.
Balt/Yanks OVER 10
Pavano gave up 5 hits and 3 runs thru 11 batters before getting pounded in the face last outing. Should be more of the same. Yanks will score a bunch as well.
Det -1.5 +105
Lima hasn't gotten a single batter out yet this season I don't think. He is absolutely horrible. I just don't see him having a good outing here. I'll probably go ahead and lay the 2.5 here as well.
Oak/Ana UNDER 9
I know, I know...Zito has looked horrific. This will be a pitchers duel. I think it will be a very close game, and one mistake will make the difference.
