I was wondering if you are ever going to post any 'regualr' non-system plays. After capping one game imparticular this one looks good etc., if the system came in on game 1 or the series was a non-system series, maybe a reguar play would be posted in a game that you simply liked (not afftecting system record).

Nice work SSI just wondering if you could explain the system for me. When I read the first explaination I thought that you were only playing home teams but today Florida on the road is a play. Are you just picking series in which you think the team should not get swept. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Do you have a rule that you dont take your Braves? Or is it you just have not found a good play on them yet? Keep up the good work.

chop, i try and avoid the braves if possible but ill bet on them from time to time, i really hate to go against them (ever). thats why im not on philly today..

5teamer, as long as im successful doing this with baseball (this season), this is all that i will post.. if it goes south, then ill change things..

to the guy who asked about the system (or way that im playing this)..

80-85% of my plays will be on games 2 and 3 in a series, i will have some game 1's along the way.. next week we have several 2 game series showing up, ill have some game 1's there.. Im also trying to avoid the bad teams (especially on the road). thats the part that involves my handicapping ability..

Examples:
Lets look at the florida/mets series, no bet on game 1.. florida loses game 1 and is a dog in game 2, im on florida because i think they have a chance of winning today (live dog), so ill bet them for one unit.. If they lose, ill bet them tomorrow for 2 units.. I didnt bet them last night for 2 reasons, they were a road favorite and i knew pedro was on the hill today..

Lets look at balt/yanks series, no bet on game 1 (although betting balt was a choice), yanks lose game 1 and are a favorite today, you see i know the yanks would have been a live dog but they are the favorite, so this is a no-play, in fact the cubs fall into this same category -- along with the tigers, thus they are no plays..

Lets look at col/sf, no play on game 1. col loses game 1 but i still am not betting col in game 2, reasons are that they are in a funk and are facing jason schmidt today... Most of the time, i would be on the home team in this situation but not colorado against schmidt..

I am not just taking the home teams, ill take some good road dogs, i have a couple today in florida and az...

I also want to be a little flexible in what im doing, making the (+Units) is number 1 on my list of things to accomplish, i dont want to give them back senselessly...

Please ask away with any ???..

the best way -- may be to ask, why i did or didnt play a particular game or series..

once my team wins a game in a series, then there are no more bets for me in that series... i experimented with this last year alot, i was playing all the games in the series in a 1-2-4 unit format, i do not think this will work for the most part, one sweep in eight will probably make you on the losing end..

Question: When playing favs do you play to win 100 or risk 100 to win whatever the amount?

playing fav's to win $100.. risking $100 on the dogs, and im not into all the calculating of betting $227 or some odd number, i prefer to just stick to the $100/$200/$400 format, play at your own risk, this is still gambling and be prepared to double down..

If just starting today, id play oakland for only 1 unit and not 2...

for anyone wondering, the Milwaukee play for today, should read +1.14.. and not -1.14, played several hours ago at pinny (have no idea what the line is now).

your halfway right when it comes to not mattering who is pitching.. it matters if it keeps me off of certaing games (as in col today - against schmidt).. it could matter greatly if it turned a dog into a favorite, lets say suddenly pedro doesnt pitch today and florida became the favorite (if so then i probably wouldnt want on them because - they become a road favorite.)..

this cost me a game however, the other day when the reds won...

another reason, ive always bet "listed pitchers".

Thanks SSI! I'm just a small player and like the system you use, along with Kruser. It seems like a proven stategy that you guys are using and you have treaked it thru the years. Hopefully it will stay true for a long time.
