I just got home from work and checked on my bets, my biggest of the day being the Giants and Rockies playing Under 11. I know it's at Coors Field but with Schmidt on hte mound, I figured he'd keep the Rockies to 2 or 3 runs. Doesn't matter really, it's 5-2 or 6-2 right now in the 8th, was thsi a gift? Seems pretty easy to me.

That "GIFT" is a base hit away from not getting there now in the 9th.

Lets hope the "JINX" wasn't put on this with an 8th inning post.:sad3:

You are so right KIDSLICK, I already posted a winner on my thread. I hope I dont have to go back and correct it. 5-4 RISP.

Since you didn't see the Game until the 8th I'll let it go about how "Easy" it was.

It WAS easy, you don't need to see a game to tell if it was easy, look at the pitchers, look at the lack of power on the teams, how old 1 team is, easiest play this season.

It may look easy on paper but then they "play the game" .

A hit here or there or a double play not turned makes a big difference.
Look at the men left at 3rd base as well.

A box score after the fact doesn't tell the whole story.
I had Colorado +150 so I'm glad for the outcome but Rockies could have scored 8 easily.

Easiest play this season is a silly statement. My UNDER 9 on Oakland/LAA earlier today that won in the 10th 1-0 or an UNDER 8 on SD/PITT the first week that ended 1-0 in 12 innings were just a bit easier.:icon_conf

How exactly do you "JINX" yourself? What I say or do has absolutely NO effect on the outcome of a game. I could say lock, guarantee, whatever....it will NOT effect the game, get it through your heads, they play the game, we don't.

It really does not matter how easy or how hard it was. The bottem line whoever had the under is in the :money8:

Betting the under with one of the best over umpires behind the plate is never a gift to me.If anyone other that Schmidt was on the mound I would have played the over.As it was it looked like Schmidt was having trouble with Cedarstrom. All that being said, you still get to stand at the collection window.
