Not really, I am excellent with boxing and suck with MMA. I think Trigg is live though and I think Lidell isn't.

Wow

Short fight but good.

hughes choked out Trigg after getting hit low early. Trigg had him mounted but Hughes got out of it, slammed Trigg and then choked him out.

I thought we would get some serious opinons. Guess ufc is like arena foots and wnba. Not as much interest as you would think.

how would these guys have done against the original ufc? guys like royce gracie, ken shamrock, tank abbott, kimo, etc

If you couldn't clock Gracie in the first few bumrush seconds..he was gonna get you on the mat..then lockdown a submission hold..the absolute best!

The greatest part of it all was he was an average joe physique lacking KO power, yet was trained in for all forms of grappling and fighting..unreal fighting family.

Royce wouldn't do as well now as he did then. Fighters are much better on the ground now. During the first several UFC's those guys were crap. Guys are much better rounded now. Royce would still be good but not dominant like he was.

I love the UFC....if it was a boxing event i'd be here looking for updates but UFC was out with friends watching the event....I know all this is posted after the fight but this was my night

Man........all of the buildup for this fight and it was over that quick?!?:icon_conf

I used to watch this years ago, but lost interest. After watching this seasons year long show on Fox, I am a fan again. I actually like the rules much better now than the old ones.....
