Upcoming WNBA season....is this a lose or win for books

I know we have our resident horse BB picker The General to give us all his masterpiece picks...but besides that do books like booking WNBA ?? is it growing as a popular betting sport also?

It will vary. Some books will feel more comfortable than others. The lines are known to move alot off of the opener. I don't think afraid is a proper word, but like Spiro told me, the numbers may not be as solid as your more popular events.

logically the numbers can't be as solid...General, how many years in a row have you turned a profit in the WNBA?

The majority of sports that do not draw much action have not near the amount of solid numbers as those that are popular.

One of the reasons that many books refuse to use less than 30 cent lines on such things as Nascar, golf, and tennis match-ups.

Obviously the percentage of SHARP action on events such as these is greater.

Another problem with these events is that limits are normally set fairly low as compared to their counterpart high volume sports.

dante i know most books dont care cause theres very little action overall for the wnba. most books are so busy with baseball and the upcoming football season they seem to post lines as an afterthought.ive talked to some big names in vegas and here about this and thier answers were all the same. they laughed at the thought anyone cares. i loved thier reactions.all i know is I come out on top in the end.~RG

I believe it was 2001 when I started wagering WNBA and I have not lost money in any season. So the answer would be 4. I was cautious in 2004 because I knew this. I am not sure of my game plan in 2005 yet, but I like the game better than NBA.

Which book would you say is best for WNBA,,,,,higher limits etc?

Grande & Pinnacle come to mind. Seems Cascade was ok also, but I wouldn't swear to that.
