Doctor gave me a steroid lotion. There is no cure for it and they're not sure what causes it. Might be a fungus, but might not. Also, certain over the counter shampoos can help like Denorex and T-Gel.

I do not have it but I found this. Hope it helps:

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis should include biotin at 100 mcg t.i.d., folic acid at 15-25 mg per day, B6 at 100 mg t.i.d., vitamin E at 800-1,200 mg IU per day, EFA at 5 grams t.i.d., vitamin A at 300,000 IU per day as beta-carotene, zinc at 15 mg t.i.d., and Selsun Blue shampoo topically.

If the scientiest who research this thing had it--I bet they would find a reason and cure! I use a steroild cream (desonide), but that is loosing it's effect somewhat.

Thanks tenman--I'm going to look for those ingrediants: Hope they can all be found at a health food (vitamin) store.
I allready use a zinc shampoo.
