4-18 System Plays (27-2 +15.41 units)

System record - 27-2-1 +15.41 units or +$1,541

We have a situation this week for the system plays because of the 2 game series. Rather then playing my normal 8-10 games I have picked my favorite 5 games out and I am going to use those for just the 2 game series they are in. SSI has decided to take a different approach, however this is the way I am going to play it.

Here they are

Braves +106 $100 to win $106 - Braves have too many good right handed hitters to keep them contained in this ball park. I wanted to play the under, but I see the Braves breaking out huge in one of these two games.

Marlins -140 $140 to win $100 - Dont normally like playing this much juice but I really think they win both of these games vs Washington. Willis is so good this year and I think he continues his success.

Rockies/AZ over 12 $110 to win $100 - Both Bullpens and pitching are weak. However colorado has been scoring good in thier park so I am banking for one of these games to go WAYYYYY over.

Marlins under 8 - $102 to win $100- Both of these teams have much better bullpens then the rest of the league and they both normally keep games low scoring.

New York Yankees BABY - Line is not up yet, however one of these games is going to involve Randy Johnson and one of these games is going to involve Rob Bell. I do not care at all how much the juice is for these games for the Yanks WILL not get swept by Tampa in this series. I most likely will play this game -1 to save a bit of juice. The Yanks Offense will break out for one of these games.

Really I am just banking on bad bullpens in high alt. I think one of the 2 go over.

George is PISSED at his team right now. There is no way in hell that the Yankees lose both games of this series.

This is going to be my first 1.5 unit series play but I will be playing the yanks -1 instead of the inflated ML.

Line still not up yet, but I will be back when it does.

let me see if i get this right kruser. were betting these sides/totals until they win even if 3 happen tomorrow we bet the same ones that dont win on monday for tuesday?is that how this works?`~RG

Just because these are two game series we arent changing anything on the system. . .

For the sides, I am playing the first game for one unit. If the team loses the first game we will go for a 2 unit win in the second game so that we come out 1 unit ahead at the end of the series.

Same goes for totals, I bet one total and if it doesnt come through the first game I double up on it the second game.

Ya with me now? So far I have had 27 series picks and have only lost 2, (should have won the two we lost! :finger: Astros! :finger: Rangers bats)

ok i get it. but how did you arrive at these specific sides and totals with so many games on the schedule?. you can tell me to go with the program if you want kruser if you dont feel like explaining it i'd totally understand.its a system that takes time and for a gravytrainer like me i'll just follow along.lol.a 10-0 weekend is evidence enough you know what your doing.lol.~RG

Roxy, I have no specific system that I follow. I look at pitching match-ups, bullpens, and try to pretty much look into everything I can for each series. Then when something pops out to me and makes sense I play it.

Yes, The 10-0 weekend was sweet, however the sweetest thing was that we didnt even have to move on to one 3rd game system play. Those are normally the stressful games!

Thanks Roxy - You can ask questions anytime and that goes for anyone else. Its your money and if you want to ride along then you have every right to ask "WHY. . . " about anything I play!

I worded my comment wrong. What I meant was I liked the other 4 plays, just dont have an opinion on the Rockies series. I am really concidering laying the heavy chalk on the Yankees. -200 Yikes!!!, but like you said there is no way in hell they will get swept. Are you prepared to lay -400 if game 1 loses, which it probably wont.

Robbie Bell will have bus loads of people coming down from Marlboro NY where he is from to watch him pitch. When they come to watch him usually he pitches well but the Yankees are due! Can't see Robbie Bell shutting down an offense ready to explode but hey they aren't hitting yet so maybe he can steal a win in NY,lol.

Alright, after thinking about this Yankee game I have decided not to make it a system play. I never play heavy chalk like that outside of the system and I am not going to put it into the system. If I played the Yankees tonight I would be falling right into the book's hands. I could almost guarentee that the NYY will not get swept in this position, but I have worked far to hard to make those 15 units this season and I am not going to give it back. Jaret Wright is not that good of a pitcher, and with the Yankees bats quiet as of late who knows what could happen in this game!

The other four remain plays, but the NYY are out!

Kruser, i revised my plays tonight as well,, sticking with the way it was.. playing one unit today, if play loses (play a 2 unit play tomorrow). if 2 unit play loses, then its a system loss.. this is for monday and tuesday.. on wed and thursday i will do the same.. i dont want to risk 8 units (1-1-2-4) on a teams 4 game losing streak.. system record doesnt mean a thing, its the Units that count.. good luck tonight..

Ok, So the Yanks are going to win. Did they have to rub it in my face. I was ready to make this a 1.5 unit system play and I didnt do it! Oh, well someday I will make a decision like that and it will pay me back for missing this train. I am not really that mad about it because I know in my mind I made the right decision.
