Yes, it will be interesting to see if US slide ends Monday if Europe is sharply lower along with tonights' Asian slide.
The Japanese Nikkei topped in 1989-90 at 39,000 and now at 11k after being as low as 7k in 2003. A very similar path has been forming the past several years for US Nasdaq.

I don't get a sense it is that certain. I think there is a lot of two way action out there, I don't smell a one-way street. Last week was about people accepting that economic growth could be slowing, but with it the interest rates have taken a tumble when everyone says they are a sure thing to head up. The fact is the market is very efficient right now, every concept seems to play itself out quite quickly. I think the market will go down a little more or tread water for a bit, but by end of summer there will be another rally to come.
Wait a minute: I believe there is a rally to come, but today will be a down, down day. It is nasty in the market today. Not two months from now. I was speaking in the moment. I haven't moved anything nor will I as I expect a positive market and over 11k DOW by the end of the year. Just NASTY right now! tulsa
