That is the current tease trend isn't it? Common food you eat may kill you, film at 11. Builds interest I guess. FROG does not need that. Buying the Doggers. Picked up 35-1 and 28-1, pretty good chunks. I did very well with my last futures, Cards and Sox. Some fizzled, but odds were high enough on those two to pay for everything. Just a Kelly Criterion game to me. I know it is early, I bet the Red Sox last April at 6-1, and later got 9-1. I feel if I do not get LA now, it may be too late. Pinny down to 17-1. A lot of 20-1 is out there still. Exchanges had 30-1. Pretty fat odds for a playoff team from last year, that like the Red Sox, may have just added the right pieces to get to the big show. May dominate division. May not make the playoffs. But at this juncture I think anything over 25-1 offers value.

Best Wishes...OF:103631605

LOL_ I love when they preview something that's supposedly so dangerous for you, and they make you wait to "find out at 11"...drives me nuts, if they really cared they would just tell us!

Its early in the season, but the Dodgers look solid to me. The Dodgers offense is like day and night better compared to last year.

Kent and Valentin are very nice adds. Not sold on Chop yet. They already had a deep staff, got Penny and Lowe. Also got Bako and Ledee for more depth. I know Penny and Chop came last season, but it was late. This squad came out of spring training thinking they had the parts to win it all. Gagne is itching to comeback, says he is missing something special, a shot to win it all. But the offense is just light years ahead of last season, Drew has stunk it up, if he comes around, lookout, their weakness of last year will be their strength.
Very high upside for this 25-1 dog. Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

Now 10-2? Best start since 1981 World Champs.

Just another 2 out, 2 strike 9th inning rally for that 2005 amazing story, The LA Dodgers. Comeback from a 6-0 deficit on the road not too shabby either. Stinky Mil not much of a barometer. Izturis the hero today. Game tying RBI, clutch single. I remember last season, I was a diehard loyal Red Sox fan, and A Cardinal fan. But I am a fickle fan, and prefer to root with a monetary interest involved. Probably difficult to comprehend for some, but I answer the continuing question, "FROG, who is your favorite team?" The one I stand to make the most on.

Great start but this Dodger team is clearly a fraud. Sure some teams can catch lightning in a bottle but if reality hits this team they will finish below 500.

Lowe, Erickson, Weaver and Dessens??? lol. Perez is the only above average pitcher in the rotation and his health is always a concern. Batting lineup is average at best.

What do you see in this team? A "magical" season ahead?

Just another late inning rally. Who needs Gagne? And Red Sox fans, thanks for Lowe. 2 series with Rockies, 1 with Zona in LA, after 1 more Padre game. Opening up the division lead. What are the best odds now?

Hey we were picking up numbers from start to finish. Getting 9-1 on BoSox and Cards when the rest of the world was sleeping. The DRays were what 2500-1? Anyone around from last year will tell you, these threads were profitable. Plus it is fun, having a rooting interest. I never bet a BoSox future in my life and told all the Sox fans no worries FROG was on it. Crazy FROG. I was sort of kidding, but it all worked out thankfully. My final position on the Dodgers is 29.4-1. Just took some winnings from the games they had won for me and shot across board, glomming the highest first of course. But like I said, you had to get this one early. Getting some arms back, and softee schd coming up, it is an exchange players instant earn. Still working on other teams. Even opened a thread at the Tracker for NBA playoffs.

Back to work...OF :howdy:

I got 30-1 last night

Awesome Mr. Smith, you are good luck as we rode the BoSox to victory last year. Well here is what you are getting for a 30-1 shot.

Dodgers have matched their best start in 50 years. A Brooklyn record.

Better start than last Dodger team to win it all.

An underated manager, who is 18-4 in extra inning games since start of 04.

A team not yet at full strength, with help to arrive soon.

A united clubhouse, with no nonsense Kent and Valentin providing leadership by example.

A team that believes they will win, every game.

A very underated GM in DePodesta. Crucified by the media as an idiot.
The idiot is laughing last.

Drew begins to wake up, 4 for 5 last night, big road game. If he hits, very solid offensive lineup. Guys willing to take bb's all day long.

Defensive prowess, except for opening game jitters, Valentine loses game error, has been awesome. This squad is very sharp, mentally focused.

Pen, close to flawless, without Gagne. How many close games and comebacks has the pen held?

In my mind, it is all about the swagger. The BoSox had it last year. These guys all look at each, even high strung Milton, and know this is it. They exude a confidence.

For those of you who constantly mention it is early, no kidding. The sky is blue. I appreciate you sharing your brilliant grasp of the obvious. I would rather be taking the shot than taking potshots at the ones that are shooting.

Go Dodger Blue...OF:party:
