What makes you think that? I actually believe that he's one of the good guys. He has raised some good points about being the most tested athlete in the world, and has never once tested positive. I think he's clean.

He tested clean because he was ahead of the testing curve. Very improbable in my mind without enhancement. I can't think of many sports where the juice was not a factor.

I love the fact that he beat Cancer, and I am big fan of his, but to say he has never done steroids even though he has TESTED POSITIVE for them is crazy. Here is a good article about him

I have no idea if he juiced, but I sure admire his perseverance. I am sure alot of competitors also juiced if he did and they couldn't hang.

Ill- do a google for it, I remember in 99 he tested positive and there have been many allegations and even just recently a guy who worked for him told of finding steroids at his house.

I'm not sure that you have your facts right. '99 was the first year he won it, and that's when the French media started to mock him, saying it wasn't possible what he was doing. But they never could prove anything, just empty allegations. This latest allegation is a joke of all jokes, and that guy's claims mean nothing to me. I still believe in the guy, and think he's one of the good guys.

He, Earl, Clemens, and DKR, are worshipped there..glad to see him leave on top.

I like him alot also and my mother was a huge fan of his. I will try to get things straight after awhile. I do remeber it was 99 though that he tested positve for something.

He's definitely not clean...he's had many former workers talk about driving long distances to dump trash, cycling is one of dirtiest "sports" out there. He is not clean. He was way ahead of the times and most of the stuff that was being used could not even be tested for. He has cheated. Especially with his illness he had to come back from. He's an a55hole too.

Actually he is probably clean now...but I'm saying in the past...100% he cheated.

Everyone with allegations stood to make money off of the allegations. I see no evidence that says he did it, and don't tend to believe people who stand to gain, like lawsuits for being dismissed as an employee, and books that were being published. The only evidence is that he has won, and the other cyclists all admit that he outworks all of them by so much that it's not even close. I see no reason not to believe him. I don't know the guy, but he doesn't seem like an a$shole to me in his interviews.

Kind of like comparing real sports like soccer or bicycling - does anybody really care? One is Nil -Nil and the other has a bruised Bum - Won't say which is which!
