I think it has been 8 years for me...

I'm also curious what the average length on this thread will be? :icon_conf

lurked for about 2 years, and I think around 2 posting wise. I know the dates got messed up once and they weren't fixed.

Can someone fix mine and lets say Sept. 2003.

I came along in March of 2002. Came from a sports pick board only. We discussed little about offshore stuff. Worked up about 10K posts over there and then realized my interest in the offshore biz. Been a forum junkie for about 5 years now. Do not regret any of it. It is a safe in-home hobby and turned into something way more special by being allowed to help people in my current capacity.

I dont remember either, I think I had another handle, but with less than 100 posts back when I first stumbled onto this place. I lurked for about 2 years or so.

I do remember how I found this place though, I had a client who posted here and he told me about a thread involving Danny B and his wife's tits. I have looked for that thread numerous times, but could never find it.

I found this site through ESB. They made up some story about suing the Shrink because the Shrink wrote a story about ESB being a no pay shop. Is this a true story? Thats what they told me.

TRUE STORY...

They sued TheRx for 5 million, and we countersued for 10 million...

I was a real novice then and almost caused this place to go out of business by not listening to the Judge's Temporary Restraining Orders...

In the longrun, there was no winner as the case was settled out of court.

In reality, I believe I won because ESB was trying to put this place out of business through litigation...

I have NEVER seen so many attornies representing one side as I did when I went to court against them...

It was LIL OL me and ONE Southern attorney against an offshore establishment...

The news was so BIG here in Chesapeake, that the case made the FRONT of the LOCAL NEWS SECTION and my Mail lady even knocked on my door to wish me luck...

Not to mention all the calls I got from reporters, friends, family, etc..

Oh, those were the days...

Was a regular at W@gertalk and Renos in late nineties, that lurked here, and at Madjacks, JD's LIR, & Phoenixsports, then finally registered in '02.

Im glad everything worked out. It would be a shame if a pond scum company like ESB would have caused you to shut THERX down.

Part of the settlement was that ESB never be referred to as 'pond-scum' on this site. Well, you did it choptalk. It's all over now. It was fun while it lasted! It was nice to meet all of you and I have enjoyed your company. LOL

I have lurked these boards over two years and I have been here since February 7th or so. tulsa
