5-5 yesterday -.65 units
38-31 ytd +12.46
2-1 on triple plays (still angry about playing last nights loser)
Atlanta +105 (2 units)
Houston's Roger Clemens has NEVER beaten Atlanta in a regular season game. That should be enough as never is a really long time. Add Hudson may be this years NL CyYoung winner and we are getting + money on the game and it becomes a no brainer. Houston's lineup is still full of holes with the subractions of Kent and Beltran and with Berkman on the DL and I see an easy winner here. I would have a play on the under but the Juice Box scares me off that play as I could see Houston's bullpen give up 4 or 5 runs.
stong play here, almost a triple
Texas -115 (2 units)
Chan Ho may or may not be back to his old LA days, but it shouldnt matter. Oakland has the second worst lineup in baseball imo behind only KC. Their only hitters Kendall and Chavez have both been slumping and havent really shown any sign of life. Texas at home should be able to put up 1/2 dozen runs in this one which should be plenty.
solid 2 unit play here, not quite as strong as the ATL play
others
Detroit +134 (1 unit)
Have you looked at Detroit's lineup? this is a much improved team that if the pitching holds up could make a run at the playoffs
Philly -130 (1 unit)
Philly over 9 -108 (1 unit)
Ishii should walk enough runner to give the total a chance. Look for the Philly bats to wake up after a fortunate win last night.
Stlouis over 9 -105 (1 unit)
Pujols + Walker + Edmonds add in a little Rolen who is getting hot, mix in a little Mulder who has not been very impressive and you have the making of a high scoring game. Williams has pitched well in his 2 starts against Stlouis, but Pujols has owned PNC park hitting .388 with 14 hrs and 42 rbi's in just 33 games there. Look for him to break though his 1 for 6 lifetime vs Williams as very few pitchers can maintain those numbers vs him. Small play here as I feel we have many ways to get to this total.
good luck
