Would you perfer to have a bet on the Yankees Tampa under tonight where the bet didn't stand a chance or a bad beat like the STL under tonight?

Much prefer the NYY loss. The STL game would destroy you psychologically, causing you to make some bad decisions.

After a little tantrum in the NYY, you could laugh it off and use your resources elsewhere while still ina disciplined state of mind.

I rather the bad beat, I would feel as though I had done my job and just gotten unlucky. I would feel like the "gambling gods" owed me one.

I had tampa under this evening and yes i would rather lose by 10+ runs than what blue suffered tonight.

I had the StL under, and like Ace said, I feel better knowing that I had the game basically right but got boned by a freak barrage of runs in the end. If I cap a game and I'm off by 98 points or runs, I wonder what the hell I am doing and might lose confidence.
