I think ALL of the Moderators do an EXCELLENT job, I know its not no where near as easy as it looks. Sometimes a thread can get out of hand and its not an easy decision to decide to put it in the RR. 99.9% they are right but in alot of peoples mind they are wrong. Its hard to make everybody happy, it just doesnt happen. I really appreciate from the bottom of my HEART the job each and everyone does. I think this Forum has saved people lots of money. I know from experience, you never know when a book will fold, I"ve seen books go broke where I thought it was a lie. people needs to realize it can happen without anybody aware. I would like to add one other thing, I know myself I can sometimes be real DEFENSIVE, and I have listened to the General and other people say just ignore it, and in the last two weeks it has helped me out tremendously.

If you IGNORE it, I guarantee it will go away and you will actually piss off the people who are trying to get you...
So instead of them getting to you, your SILENCE will get to them, ALWAYS...
Then, those little people who are waiting for you to react will often make themselves look foolish...

I am totally in awe of people like the General who just give and give and give and never take anything except BS from a few thankless people who just take and take... Dante seems similar based on the comments from everyone...

I agree 100% with this comment, Darryl. These guys are really doing a thankless job and sometimes it must be really hard to find the drive to keep it up... it's then when you need to resort to your work ethics and that's when you can set aside boys from men.
I have seen people taking shots at mods just because they work for the site, it must be hard to lead a pack of fucknutts and it really earns my respect.
In my personal interaction (still via web) with General and Dante, I can only say I think highly of these 2 gentlemen. As controversial a figure as Shrink is, I have learned a lot from him and the way he conducts business and I really like the fact that Fish seems to call them as he sees them.
And as little as many will like it, I liked Pat Mac and Peep and Uncle a lot as well... They all gave a lot to the community teh RX is nowadays.

I have some criticisms - or perhaps it would be more on-point to say, I have reasons for not making theRX my primary source of industry information - but it's a nice supplement.
The thread title asks for reasons. I'm not sure what to say. I already feel like I'm breaking up a love-in.
Anyway there's nothing I could say that hasn't been said before many times by many people in many ways. It's the basic issue of straight talk versus spin and who's getting paid and blah, blah, blah . . .
I understand how things get this way but I'm selfish. I make my living in this industry and I want everything set up to maximize my business.

imo........therx is run about the best it can be run.......
the mods do a good job.....most notably
1. wilheim.......gambling knowledge second to none, about as gracious as a person can get...
2. general............the man truly has something good to say about everyone...

does a fine job 90 percent of the time..........its just that the other 10 percent sometimes overshadows the other....mainly because i like to try to rip him a new one....but hell nobody is perfect, with me leading the non-perfect crowd............overall these guys do a job i wouldnt want in a million years....

I am new here on the RX, and I am amazed out how much knowledge and professionalism the moderators bring to the forums. They are always quick to respond and help out everyone in anyway possible. They truely go out of their way to make the RX a fun and rewarding experience. I have learned a lot from everyone in my short time here. The members are also extremely knowledgeable and are more than willing to share their expertise as well. I want to give thanks to everyone. I truely enjoy my time here and I look forward to getting to know each of you better, and also to building lasting friendships. one9
