3 Plays...4/19 (23-11 +12.7 units)

No apologies for last nights 0-2 effort. First losing night in a while, don't plan to make a habit of that. Tonight got three I really like and look for the sweep.

All Plays Listed

2 units St. Louis Cardinals ML -140

St. Louis looks to be back to form, winning four straight while knocking in 22 runs in that stretch. Tonight Matt Morris returns to the line-up after shoulder rehab. He had a rocky rehab start against minor league Jupiter, allowing five runs and eight hits over 5 2-3 innings Wednesday. However, over his career he has dominated Pittsburgh. Morris is 8-4 starting against Pitt with an ERA of 2.37 and a WHIP of 1.226. On the other hand, Fogg, who is a good pitcher as well, hasn't fared well vs the Cards. In the past, he has gone 1-6 against St Lou with an ERA of 9.50 and a WHIP of 2.083. Morris will definetly be held to about 85-90 pitches but I think the bullpen for St. Louis has the advantage over Pitt.

1 unit Cleveland Indians ML -118

Kansas City is just horrible. This team was my fade team of the season, and they have held up to that billing. Bautista is a work in progress and still has a lot of learning to do. In his second start of the season, at home vs Seattle, he gave 4 hits and 6 ER on 3 1/3 inning pitche. In one game against Cleveland, he allowed 8 hits and 6 ER in 4 innings of work, creating a 13.50 ERA. Elarton hasn't been anything special either as he hasn't even seen the sixth inning in two tries thus far. However in 4 starts vs KC, Elarton 2-0 with a 4.42 ERA and 1.42 WHIP, and his team is 4-0 in those starts. KC's offensive woes continue today, which is a big part of this play (scored more than 2 runs only once this season).

1 unit Chicago White Sox ML -117

Seems like alot of people like the Twins and that's cool. I just think El Duque will bounce back from his horrid performance vs Clevelan and continue where he left off in his first start. His season debut came against Minny, where he pitched seven innings, giving up only 1 ER on 6 hits including 5 K. In 6 starts vs Minny, Hernandez is 3-2 with an ERA of 3.60 and a WHIP of 1.150. Radke on the other hand has been struggling to keep runners from scoring, giving up 17 ER (4 HR) in 19 1/3 innings. This should be a battle, as usual, with Chicago coming out on top.
