For the first time in my life I wagered AGAINST my beloved Red Sox....makes it difficult to watch the game.....I want the $$$ but I just naturally want the Sox to win every game....so I'm cheering when Ortiz hits the HR.....but then thinking WTF?! Anyone else bet their FAVORITE TEAM? I mea real favorite....Cowboys are my team in football but I could bet aginst them but Sox is tuff...

guess I'm shameless also. i bet against UK when they played Mich St.
It can work in your favor because your "fave" team is usually the team you know best. Makes the game painful to watch, though.

I like to bet against my favorite teams (Duke and St. Louis Cards) in big games as it helps take the sting out of a lose.

Dolphins are my team....but i bet against them for the 1st time 2 seasons ago and i won. Now ill do it anytime.

Tough to do it in a short football season. AS for baseball, any team can stand to loose a game or two cause i bet the other side.
