when i was a kid i thought Eric Davis was going to be the superstar of his generation, so i bought up all his cards.

no idea what they are worth, but i would guess no more than the cost of the gum they came with.

I bought 100 Devon White and Barry Bonds rookies in 1987...i thought the bonds rookies would be worth a fortune today, but unfortunately the baseball card companies mass produced the cards in the late 80's and they are worth miniscule!

Haha, Eric Davis. He was the $hit in his prime.. He made one vital mistake.. He continued playing wayyy after his prime. Sort wiped away all the stardom he created.

I invested in Chili Davis during one monster year he was having, in the end they both blew.

the only cards worth anything are the ones 90% of us didn't keep in mint condition, and that's why they are worth something...1980 on back, 70's 60's and of course further back.

My gosh, me too! Man, I had to spend thousands. Mainly on packs. That was the problem, buying packs and boxes trying to get thos "BIG" pulls! Would of been much cheaper in the long run to just by the better ones individually! Not to mention the fact we wouldn't of had boxes and boxes of those extras & commons.........:neenee:

One of the best investments I ever made relative to my net worth was to buy a few boxes of 89 Score Football (Barry Sanders Rookie) back in 1989. I wasn't yet a freshmen in high school and those boxes ended up selling for $500+ each. They bought me my first car.

How much for the stick?

I reckon it is worth between $100-$200

It is yours for $120 plus shipping.

PS- no authenticity, but I personally got the autograph in Vegas about 10 years ago on a genuine Ray Bourque stick.
