When they first opened, they were the only game in town. The Daily Racing Form had FULL PAGE ADS. When I first played there they seemed ok. But it wasn't long before I noticed an attitude change. I wasn't with them but for about a year and glad I left them. The worst part were the phone calls from "Jim McMann" Bears QB on taped.
Tough question to answer...... Dennis would choose to pay some people even though they would beat the heck out of him regularly. I know of a couple of brothers from Texas that were cleaning his clock, but he kept taking their action and kept paying out. Then there were others who he would just flat out stiff right out of the gate. He would simply have someone tell the client that their account had been closed and the funds would not be sent. I worked w/ 2 of his former employees (Danny B and Philly Prince) for a period of time and the stories that they shared about Dennis were just downright sickening!
As recently as a year ago, I would listen to Dennis' voicemail (he is too stupid to figure out how to change his vm access code I guess) and the messages he gets daily from people he has stiffed are some of the funniest things I have ever heard. If you want him to call you back, the best chance you have is to threaten him and tell him you are going to kick his ass. He is a freak and never backs down from a fight or so I have heard.
