AND WHAT WAS THE RESULT?

the first sports bet i can ever remember making was on a vikings game. i dont remember who they were playing, but i remember they were favored by 2.5.

they were losing by 10 at the half and came back to win by 7.

i won a whopping $25 bucks!!!

seemed like a lot at the time, and made me think i was on top of the world. lol, those were the days....

I'm not sure if it was my first bet, but it's the first I can remember....

I bet my Dad on the Georgetown VS Villanova Championship game.....I was 9.....I bet Georgetown would win and he had Nova. I win I get $1...he wins I wash his car.......talk about vig.....

yeah, i was on denver too. when elway hit that 80 yard pass for a t.d. i was in hog heaven!!!!

lol, who knew they would only score 3 more points in the whole game, and give up 50....

i was 12,(32 years ago)my dad took me to the track,i bet $2 to win on the eight,he won and paid $52 to win,i had no idea at the time,but my life was over right then :lolBIG:

First Bet I remember was the 1960 World Series---I had the Bucs and it was only small money in those days---but all my friends were on the Yankees. When Bill Mazeroski---hit the home run in Game 7, --I can still see Yogi Berra, just looking up and the feeling of winning has never been matched---even though "chump change".

We are Family--from that day--I rode the Pittsburgh Express. Can you imagine what they would have been with Bonds!!

I don't remember, but I do remember winning a couple big (for the time) live bets at SIA sometime within my first few weeks. They were and are probably still easily beatable on live betting on turnovers and other major plays in football.
