Not the start I would have liked to see to start the season. But there are 3 plays this afternoon that will hopefully bring me back to the plus side.
Chicago White Sox @ Detroit Tigers - 1:05 EDT
Going back to the well on this one. Buehrle vs. Bonderman should be quite the matchup. Give the edge to the Sox, because Buehrle has been all but unhittable, the Tigers offense is struggling, and the Chicago bats have woken up of late.

Pittsburgh Pirates @ Cincinnati Reds - 12:35 EDT
Easy play here in my mind...Kip Wells has struggled for Pittsburgh, and facing this Cincinnati lineup isn't going to make things any easier. On the other side of the coin, Eric Milton was brilliant in his last outing, going 7 innings for the win vs. Houston, while allowing only 3 hits. This Pirate offense is no better (probably worse) than the Houston offense, so I see another solid outing from Milton. Business Day Special in Cincy should have fans out in bunches.
