No doubt about it. A quick death is better than having a game won until the last seconds, inning, play, etc.

I had the Nationals on the ML today. I would have preferred to have lost 22-0 in the 3rd or 4th inning instead of the horror at the end of the game.

Leiter had been pitching decent and he decides to implode in the 2nd inning....

Thought 7 was beyond safe with those pitchers....

Too bad Hampton isn't in New York anymore and Leiter is in Florida...or he could have hopped over to his "buddy" to cry on his shoulder...
