Had the 'stros on the RL and an 8-3 lead going into the 9th. First of all Houston should've had 10-12 runs in this game, but didn't take advantage of many scoring chances. Anyway, The Brew Crew put a 4 spot on the board in the ninth to cover the runline. 3 of them coming on a 2 strike, 2 out 3 run dinger.

I didn't believe in ghosts until tonight when I saw one pitching for Houston. That being John Franco. This guy must be dead and his body just doesn't know it yet. He pitched for the Reds back in the friggin 80's. They traded him for Randy Myers who helped them win the series as one of the Nasty Boys in '90. MLB needs to forget about steroids and find out what the hell Franco is taking.

I know, I know.....had I won the bet, I wouldnt be on here bitching. Thats part of gambling I guess......we will get them Tomorrow....lol

LOL, Noreaga, that's true, but WE SHOULD HAVE WON!! LOL! That's all I know to say on that one. Despite not following that rule of thumb, it was 2 outs 2 strikes and two men on base. A single, double or triple would not have ruined my play. nope. 2out 2strike meaningless homer. But, I understand where you are coming from. tulsa

True Tulsa, i see that game live on nasn, it's amazing how they lost ( won by one ). I had the Nationals today ... ATL went on a big jam with no out on the 9th ... Cordero comes back and struck out the next two batters, then with two outs Guzman throwing error gives ATL 2 runs!

Best of luck

Rule of thumb was out the window here. Not to mention the fact that the Astros had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th, nobody out and the big bats up. The only run they scored was when Biggio was hit by a pitch.....lol.

Has Wasington

Just as bad as Washington Game. Washington up 1. 2 outs in the top of 9th and Atl scores 2 to win the game. killed my almost perfect mourning also had Minny -1.5 loser. But 4-2 was a good start.

Oh...so you were with us!! I thought you were making fun of our gripe and b!tch! Well, welcome to the club, pal. I sure have to admit it feels loads better to complain here a bit than to sit by myself thinking about stuff like that. This gives me a bit of outlet for anxiety! Anyway, sorry to hear you were in on that as well, I really would rather think you were giving us a hard time and hadn't lost any money. tulsa<!-- / message -->

its not about being home or being away, to me, when playing the RL its the same as when playing the ML, it is all about the VIG.....
