Was just thinking of something really funny.

A few months back I was having a really bad run betting bases, and one of the ball games I bet on lost. I went and looked at the settled bet as I usually do and noticed that one of the pitchers names was wrong. Was like Ronaldo Arroyo instead of Bronson Arroyo. Anyways, I called the book and demanded the bet be cancelled as one of the listed pitchers did not start.

They credited my account, and I have always checked my wagers closely thereafter.

I guess technically I was right as the listed pitcher really did not start, haha. On second thought I wonder if they cancelled the action for people who won as well based on this.. May have screwed over a lot of people to get my 200 bucks back.

Adding: Just so you guys dont think I am a complete jerkoff.... This book had cancelled a large bet based on a small stipulation like this before.. Was a little payback.

Was a large soccer bet, and at the time I did not know too much about soccer.

The team I had bet on won on a golden goal.. Apparently golden goals did not count for this game but it was not listed under the bet like it usually was. They said it was listed in their terms and conditions.. Cost me about a grand.

you obviously knew you lost, and you took a shot at the book. They didn't take a shot at you. You bet a grand on something you knew nothing about. I don't agree with what you did, and I'm sure you don't care, but you kind of made yourself look like a punk.

Both were graded on technicalities. Technically the listed pitcher did not start.

If I did not care why would I respond?

Edit: It was a one time deal.. I don't try to scalp and take advantage of wrong lines or anything like that... This was totally different.
