Heat/Nets OTB????

Anybody have any info on why it went off the board? I'm sure it's Shaq realated.

Miami - © Shaquille O'Neal (thigh) is downgraded from probable to "?".
AP reports - Saying his bruised right thigh still hampers his mobility,
Miami center Shaquille O'Neal returned to practice Saturday -- yet was
coyly noncommittal about whether he'll be playing when the Heat open
their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the New Jersey Nets.
"You've got to start off in the right way," O'Neal said. "I've never
missed a playoff game, I don't think. This is the first time where I'm
going in iffy-iffy." O'Neal still is undergoing multiple treatments daily
to alleviate pain and swelling in the leg. If O'Neal cannot play, then
former Nets center Alonzo Mourning -- who asked out of New Jersey since
he did not consider the team to be a championship contender -- is Miami's
probable starter.

Hitman,

I would guess that he would play. I would be very surprised if he didnt. Only way he doesnt play is if he wakes up tomorrow and he is very sore and stiff. I will try to update tomorrow as soon as I know. But if I had to say, I think he will give it a go.

I agree that it is likely he will play. The only way I see him sit is if there is a strong concern that playing would aggrevate his injury and cause more problems down the road.
