Hoping to cap off another winning week, with a big Sunday......Saw alot of games/matchups that i liked today, so hoping thats a good thing...

We shall see....

good morning buscfan67! time to make money again and i love it. does moneyline movement mean ANYTHING when looking at matchups on vegasinsider and other places or no?

congrats on your big day yesterday, looks like you took the unofficial lead in units won, between you/me/chop/kruser... other guys are doing well also but i follow the 3 mentioned above, to see how everyone is doing,,, really wish we could all get to +100 units this year...

Well it certainly lets you know where the money is going, however you are never sure is that the losing money, or the winning money....

The main advantage i can see with that, is say you like the cubs today, and they opened at (-150)....u see the moneyline moving, and now they are (-142), u might want to wait to make your play, and hope it continues, and u get (-136) or so........and of course just the opposite if the line is moving the other way..

but i dont think it lets you know the right side.....cuz you arent sure who made the line move that way...

Some people put more stock in that stuff, i just cap the games the way i like them, and the way i think they will go, and if there is value in the line i play it...

Kinda like the fact that some people say you can only play "dogs" in bases, if u are going to win...I dont believe that, the key isnt playing "all dogs" its playing the "right" favorites, and the "right" dogs...

thank you. you explained that well. i was on the phone reading this to my gf whos hubby believes its all about moneyline movement. but her man doesnt bet and knows as much about sports as michael jackson does about grown women.i see a pitching change has been made in the cubs game. does fogg not pitching change anything?

I make all my plays on here "action" because many times i am gone when they make a change, and as many times as it goes against you, it will go "for you"...

I still like the Cubs, as i am looking for a big outing from Wood today.....

I think the Cubs will hit Williams better than they would have Fogg, so i still like the runline play in this game...

First winner is in, as the Yanks rout the Rangers as expected...

So far thanks to the Cincy bullpen hanging on (barely) we are 3-0, +5.37 units today, with the Cardinals game a sure push at worst, already at 9 runs still 4 innings to go......

Atlanta played a real nice game and won 4-0......Cubs have rallied, but that bullpen is scary.....not feeling real good about that one.....And kerry wood went out after 5 innings, not sure why...i think he must have not felt good, because he batted in the bottom of 5th but Rusch came out in the 6th to pitch...

DUDE YOUR FREAKING AMAZING! im sure youve heard that before tho! bucsfan thankeees thankees thankees for these picks and being here!god,i love football,and college basketball and the wnba. i do my homework like every other capper when those sports are in season. i have no idea how you or anyone else does baseball but im glad you do! im all over the angels -1.5 tonight! hey..if you like a team on the moneyline like atlanta today wouldnt it be wise to also get them at -1 on the run line too??~RG

guess that would be up to you Roxy...I must admit, i have NEVER played a (-1) line....Never even noticed them til this year, to be honest...

I like the runlines, but thats because u get a definite increase in the value of the line.....with the (-1) the increase is not as good, and of course if you lose the game, then you would lose twice, without the value of the runline, thats my opinion

I realize that if u win the game, you know you cant LOSE that wager, like u can a runline, but for the value, i dont really like the play......

Mainly, i play runlines on 2 occasions, when i like a team to win, and the vig is too high, but i really like them, then i figure they can win by 2, if I think they are so great....and the other is if i really like a team to win, and am already playing them on the (ml), i will add extra on the "runline" for the (+) money....but if u notice, ALMOST ALWAYS , i will stagger the wagers so that if they win by (1) run, we still come out ahead.....in other words, u wont seem me go 2 units on the moneyline, and 2 units on the runline.....If they win by 1 (which i obviously think they are gonna win, or i wouldnt be playing them twice), we will still come out ahead....If they win by 2 or more, we come out way ahead.......

Thanks Jasin, but looks like the Sox might prevent a sweep today, and thats bad cuz they were ahead 2-0 against an anemic KC team...However, if the Cubs hold on, i will sacrifice the other chicago team, cuz we will have a VERY GOOD day going into tonight, with the "fav" play on the cards, basically being a "free" play tonight....also have seattle tonight as well, added them later, but like them too
