They have one for $109 buy in, 100K. 25% pays 1st, and pays through 39th place, there are about 400 players.

This is part of a promotion their running. something like 5.5 million in guaranteed tournys for the next month. getting nowhere near the guaranty so far i might add. I won a $3000 tourny last saturday and have taken down a good sum from the $ 10,000 so far.

As a side note they are doing this flawlessly with no problems ive heard of yet. i put in for a payout about 6pm the saturday i won and recieved it at 3pm the next day..not bad at all!

For comparison InterRot oops i meant intertops damn near went under paying a measly 40,000 in guarantees a few weeks ago

Tough break 69...i went 0-3 today so it was tough all over it seems.

i read on another site that Josh Ariens was in that 100,000 tourny today. havent seen how he done but a shot at a big time player would have been nice....maybe next time! :toast:

Bodog is really making a push to promote their poker site. These guaranteed tourneys have huge overlays, and they've been losing thousands and thousands. And with the 20% bonus they give you for every reload, I don't see any reason to play anywhere else. I see this as good and bad tough. I like it the way it is, with the small amount of players you get to know how everyone plays (mostly pretty bad). These promotions will just bring more sharks to the site. They've also got Josh Arieh to promote the site now and he's plays at the 5/10 nl game, which will probably attract more players (don't really know why though).

The word is all over the internet about the overlays. i just finished a 1000 guar that started at 3pm and it hit 980 so i doubt tonights have any overlay at all...the bigger ones 25,000 and 10,000 i'd bet will be full by the weekend..

AND despite having won 1 tourny and starting to hit the money on pretty regular basis im still not convinced this pokerroom is on the up and up. i still see these same group of old regulars there hitting hands from nowhere and winning most of the big prizes. when i see a guy who i know is a good player staying in a hand with big raises when there is an ace on the board then the turn and river come k-3 and he turns over a k-3 to take the pot from the ace paired newbie im sorry ....something isnt right. a good player doesnt stay in that hand with k-3 unless...well unless he knows whats coming or he's the loosest player in the world. he wouldnt be good if he was that loose so what does that leave ???? i'll tell ya what it leaves...it leaves me highly suspicious...
